In 1965, Mary and Jack Wilson purchased the RY- Ranch with a vision: to build a legacy ranch that would be passed down through generations. That vision has continued to thrive under Tate and Bobbi Wells, who have expanded the ranch’s mission with a deep commitment to regenerative farming and sustainable practices.

At RY- Family Ranches, we raise 100% grass-fed and finished Angus and Angus/Gelbvieh cattle right here in the foothills of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Our cattle are raised with care, respect, and intention, never leaving the ranch, ensuring a truly local, transparent, and high-quality food source.
